Our sweet tip originated out of necessity. Several manufacturers produce high quality, premium infused cigars, ranging in level of sweetness from sweet to very sweet. Many asked us if there was something in between a traditional cigar and a sweet cigar and this is what Torres Cigars and Izzy produced, the Gustoso Sweet Tip. As soon as the cigar touches your lips, you will instantly notice a subtle sweetness on the head of the cigar that compliments the mild, Connecticut wrapper's inherent bitterness, a quality associated with this wrapper. The sweetness on the head of this cigar is the perfect companion to this mild blend.

Initially blended in 2018, this cigar has become on of the most popular blends in our portfolio. This is exactly what a premium Connecticut wrapped cigar once was and should still be today.

We blended our Habano wrapped cigar around the wrapper. Let us explain. Our cigar maker came across a farmer providing him with a Nicaraguan Habano wrapper leaf grown in Jalapa, Nicaragua. There isn't much of this leaf to go around and it provides a natural sweetness to the blend, more so than Habano wrappers grown elsewhere. Once we were shown this wrapper leaf, the blend was created to supplement this wrapper, rather than obtaining a wrapper to supplement the blend. Medium in strength and full in flavor, this is a cigar that will appeal to both intermediate smokers and connoisseurs alike.

Cameroon wrappers are not used very often, usually limited to just a handful on Dominican manufacturers who have used Cameroon leaf for many years. This cigar is the product of our desire to blend a mostly Nicaraguan cigar using the Cameroon leaf. While the Nicaraguan tobacco filler and binder leaves are typically more intense in strength than Dominican tobacco, this blend showcases the natural sweetness of the baking spice flavors present in Cameroon leaf while not increasing the intensity of the Nicaraguan leaves in the blend.
